Pharmacological properties:
Therapeutic indications:Preparation of ALAKS has expressed cathartic effect is used for treatment:
1. Sharp and chronic constipations (more
than 3 months);
2. Atonic constipations, related to weakening or absence of peristaltic motions;
3. Spasmatic constipations, with spasms of smooth musculature of intestine.
Instructions for proper use and dosage:Adults and children from 12 years: 1-2 tablets before sleep or duting a day, with a glass of water. To use during 7-10 days on recommendation of doctor.
Side effects:There can be stomach-ache in some cases, especially for patients with the syndrome of angry intestine, – it is necessary to decrease a dose. There can be violations of cardiac activity as arrhythmia, especially at simultaneous application of cardiac glikozids, diuretics and corticosteroids.
Contraindications:Impassability of intestine, enteritises, colitises, illness of Kron, ulcerous colitis, appendicitis, inflammation of urinary bladder, glaucoma, pregnancy, lactation, children to 12 years.
Overdose:Symptoms: spasms in stomach and heavy diarrhoea, that can cause the loss of liquid and electrolytes.
Treatment: symptomatic (rehydrotation), monitoring of electrolytes of blood.
Administration:Long use of Alaks is instrumental in the origin of addiction to preparation with the necessity of multiplying the doses of application, violations of water and electrolyte balance, atony of rim bowel with violation of its function.It may cause circulation and nerve and muscle violations, especially for patients, accepting cardiac glyukosides, antiunrhythmical facilities and corticosteroids.
Forms of interaction with other medicinal products:Do not use with tiasides by diuretics and corticosteroids. It makes higher the risk of loss of ions of potassium. Do not use simultaneously with cardiac glikosides, antiunrhythmical facilities.
Storage conditions and expiry date:To keep in a closed box at a temperature not higher than 25 °С in protected from light, inaccessible for children place.
Term – 3 years.
Do not use preparation upon termination of expiry date, specified on packing.
