Formulation:Active substance: 30 g of the medication contain Thyme extract liquid (Thymus vulgaris L.)- 21g,
Sage tincture (Salvia officinalis L.)- 9g;
Pharmaceutical form:Liquid for local application.
Pharmacotherapeutic group:Preparation with an antiseptic and anti-inflammatory effect for application in mouth cavity.
Pharmacological properties:Timsal is an effective complex preparation with antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory effect which is based on extracts of two medical plants:Thymus vulgaris and Salvia officinalis.
Therapeutic indications:Timsal can be applied for treatment of inflammatory diseases of gullet, and also cavity of mouth: stomatitis and inflammations of gums at adults and children from 5-years-old age.
Instructions for proper use and dosage:Shake well before application. Preparation is used in a throat and cavity of mouth 3 times a day, pressing 3-4 times on overhead part.
Children are from 5 to 7 years: 3 lavements 2 times a day
Children are 8 - 12 years: 3 lavements 2-3 times a day
Before application it is desirable to rinse a mouth with a warm water.
Preparation must be held for some time in the mouth cavity for a few minutes. Considerable exceeding of the recommended doses may nauseate.
Duration of treatment depends on intensity of treatment and usually lasts for 3-10 days.
