Formulation:1 pill contains:
extract of silymarin from the seed of Silybi mariani fructus extractum. Silymarin is the complex of: silybin, silydiamin and silycristin.
Pharmaceutical form:2 blisters of 15 filmed pills in a box.
Pharmacotherapeutic group:The hepatoprotective product. АТС code А 05 ВА03.
Pharmacological properties:Silymarol is used for therapy after the toxic and metabolic disorders of liver, caused, in particular, by toxic factors (e.g. plant poison, by an alcohol). As an additive measure at disorder of liver and chronic inflammatory processes of liver.
Therapeutic indications:State after hepatitis of viral and toxic etiology; chronic hepatitis; hepatose; for the prophylaxis of toxic defeats of liver; cirrhosis of liver (at complex treatment), active form of hepatitis (in composition to the combined therapy).
Instructions for proper use and dosage:Adults and children from 12 years: 3 times a day 1 pill after a meal, on recommendation of doctor. The most effective action is achieved at duration of course: from 4 weeks at the toxic disorders of liver during 6 months at a chronic disease. After consultation with a doctor a dose can be multiplied up to 5 pills a day. Minimum day's dose is 200 mg, maximum 400 mg.
Side effects:As any medication it can cause side effects.
During usage gastric distress is possible.
Contraindications:It is not necessary to apply preparation at individual unbearableness of some components of preparation or unbearableness of herbs of Compositae family.
Overdose:Not known.
Administration:Use of preparation does not influence on ability of driving of mechanical vehicles and maintenance of machines.
Forms of interaction with other medicinal products:There is no data of interaction with other medicines.
Storage conditions and expiry date:To keep in a closed box at a temperature not higher than 25 °С in protected from light, inaccessible for children place.
Do not use preparation upon termination of expiry date, specified on packing.
